Contemporary Tiramisu



Ingredients


3 egg whites
2/3 cup powdered sugar
8 oz. fat free cream cheese
1 pt frozen fat free whipped topping thawed
½ cup strong coffee
2 tbs Kahlua, brandy or flavored liquor of choice
8 ZonePerfect® Double Dark Chocolate Nutrition Bars
Dark cocoa powder

Directions

  1. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  2. In a separate bowl combine powdered sugar and cream cheese.
  3. Fold whipped cream gently into cream cheese mixture.
  4. Fold in egg whites.
  5. In a separate bowl combine coffee and liquor.
  6. Cut each ZonePerfect® Double Dark Chocolate Nutrition Bar lengthwise in four strips.
  7. Place the 32 ZonePerfect® Double Dark Chocolate Nutrition Bar slices in a shallow pan and brush with coffee mixture. Let sit for about 10 minutes.
  8. In a truffle glass dish, alternate layers of bar slices, cream cheese mixture and cocoa powder ending with cocoa on top.
  9. Chill at least 2 hours.
